BEAUTIFUL JAPANESE-STYLE FLOWER PLANTER WITH CERAMIC PLAQUES BY JULES VIEILLARD.
THIS PIECE OF FURNITURE IS ATTRIBUTABLE TO THE MAISON PERRET ET VIBERT. FAMOUS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF JAPANESE AND CHINESE-STYLE FURNITURE IN THE LAST QUARTER OF THE 19TH CENTURY AND AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 20TH CENTURY.
WHILE THE CERAMIC PLAQUES COME FROM THE MAISON JULES VIEILLARD IN BORDEAUX, WHICH MADE SOME ORIENTAL-STYLE CERAMICS AT THE END OF THE 19TH CENTURY.
ONE CERAMIC PLAQUE IS BROKEN AND RESTORED (SEE PHOTO), THE OTHERS ARE INTACT
THE PEWTER CONTAINER IS MISSING. SOME RESTORATIONS TO THE MAPLE WOOD PIECE OF FURNITURE.
