"Ceramic Sculpture - Singular/marginal Art - Work R. Koerber & H. Mulders - Curiosity Of The 20"
Unique work by the artist couple Renate Koerber & Henk Mulders: “Woman with a Rooster”

Discover a rare and unusual piece dating from the 1960s.

Beautiful earthenware sculpture, with a unique and emblematic style of their work.
This work, which can be described as marginal art, represents a woman carrying a rooster (fusing femininity and masculinity) symbol of their daring creativity.
The decor on the body is adorned with a farandole of characters, which are “strung” surrounded by a ribbon – an element found in real fabric attached to the legs of the rooster which is itself perched on a pointed hat and adjusted to the body. head.

All allowing a rotational movement, the rooster hat on the head and the body on the base.
