Alfred Swieykowski was born in 1869 and died in 1953 in Paris.
Of Russian-Polish father and Belgian mother, he was a student of Fernand Cormon at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
From 1894 to 1921, he appeared in the Salon des Artistes Français, obtaining an honorable mention in 1896 and another in 1900 for the Universal Exhibition.
From 1926 to 1943, he appeared at the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, was a member and a member of the jury in 1927.
He was awarded a silver medal at the 1937 International Exhibition.
