Superb jewelry box in Bressan enamels and gilded brass mount.

The box has a fairly rare oval shape, these boxes being generally rectangular, giving it a certain charm and softness. It rests on a quadruped base in brass, formed of winding and rocaille shells.
The mount of the lid is also in brass, highlighted with an interlacing frieze.

The body and the lid are in Bressan enamels on copper. They are decorated with half pearls of white, green and red enamels as well as gold and black highlights on a sky blue background typical of this regional production.

The interior is in beige moiré textile.

This is a superb box in Bressan enamels, rare for its very harmonious oval shape.
