The cellar is composed of three cut glass bottles with sides. They are engraved with floral scrolls and a medallion motif: a thyrsus for two of them and a torch for the third.
The necks and stoppers are made of silver. There is also an internal glass stopper.
The stoppers are decorated with two palmette friezes.
The whole is placed in a very beautiful mount composed of two openwork bands connected by large figures of bacchanalia spaced by two large crowns of laurel leaves.
The interior is in vermeil.
The silver parts are hallmarked:
. Minerva 1st title before 1973 for silver 950/°°
For the base:
. Goldsmith's mark: RM with an X for Raoul Mauger, active from 1897 to 1904
This is a very beautiful work, of superb quality. The stoppers are thick and heavy, the mount is superbly detailed with these large female figures, the bottles are well cut and engraved.
