"Italy Circa 1900, Pair Of Ceramic Vases Gallant Couple Musician And Flowers In Relief"
Pair of large vases with figures and flowers in ceramic, earthenware and slip, most certainly from Italy in the 1900s. This is a remarkably fine and precious work. Two figures, a couple, man, woman, musician and singer, seem to be putting on a show. The woman is wearing a skirt and a bodice and is wearing a flowered hat on her head. She is playing the mandolin. The man is in a frock coat and is wearing a hat, he is holding a score or a recital in his hand. All the vases are decorated with flowers in relief. In good condition, according to the previous owners, the score, some flowers and the neck of the woman's vase have been restored but this is not visible. Italy, circa 1900. Very fragile objects, delivery by carrier, 100 euros in France, 200 euros in the EU and 500 euros rest of the world.
