Framed painting of Abbot Morel. Maurice Morel (1908-1991). Advised by Max Jacob, he created a workshop with Bazaine. Colorful abstraction inspired by the Roman tradition. The painter belongs to the lyrical abstraction movement. He is friends with Picasso, a horseman... He opened the church to non-figurative art and thanks to him modern art entered the Vatican in 1973.
