Beautiful painting on paper by Abbot Morel Signed and framed. Abbot Maurice Morel (1908-1991) was advised by Max Jacob. He created a workshop with Bazaine. He belonged to the lyrical abstraction movement. The church had to be opened to non-figurative art and thanks to him modern art entered the Vatican in 1973. It is exhibited at the Pompidou Center.
