Robust pair of combat pistols, inspired by the Vendémiaire An XII model.
Elegant flat-body locks, engraved "Evrard Fils à Nancy". Swan-neck hammers. Spark arrestor basin. Battery with snubs.
Slightly blunderbussed barrels. Adjustable rear sights, as well as the triggers. The thunder has three proof marks.
All metal parts are blued.
The mount is made of varnished walnut. The stocks are finely checkered. The rear of the breech tail is engraved. The recess of the ramrods is decorated with a floral motif. The ramrods are made of whalebone with a bone head.
This is an archetype of combat weapons. This is a quality manufacture. We can imagine that these weapons equipped a Carabiner's officer, whose two regiments were stationed in Lunéville.
