Spectacular and large lyre-shaped lyra clock in white Carrara marble with a rich bronze ornamentation , finely chiseled and gilded.The white enamel dial with black enameled Arabic numerals and polychrome flower garlands.
This lyra clock is topped with a radiant neoclassical mask from which escapes a bronze pendulum symbolizing the strings of a lyre , itself connected to a rhinestone string.
Louis XVI style , Napoleon III period ; a French quality work around 1860 - 1870.
