"Imposing Unsigned Art Nouveau Vase By Jean-baptiste Sloodts "
Sloodts is known for his art nouveau creations. He works for the Brussels bronze company. He will make mounts for Daum and Emile Gallé. The vase is practically the counterpart of the vase illustrated on page 3236 of volume VI. Sculpture in Belgium Engelen-Marx. The vase that is presented is cast using the lost wax method. Normally it is a unique piece.
