Isabelle de Borchgrave, born in Brussels in 1946, Belgian painter, designer, stylist, visual artist. She became famous for her astonishing production of paper dresses, covering 300 years of fashion history. After three years at the Center for Decorative Arts and the Royal Academy of Brussels, she opened a store next to her workshop in the Sablon district of Brussels, "La Tour de Bébelle". She has carried out numerous private and commercial projects around the world. Decorations for hotels (notably for the Cipriani Hotel in Venice and the Sheraton Hotel in Brussels), for private homes, shop windows (Hermès Hong Kong, 2006), parties of all kinds, fashion show sets (notably for Dior in 2007). She will also work in collaboration with the big names in international licenses: Gien, Caspari, Target, Arte... Isabelle de Borchgrave has been based in a new studio in Brussels since April 2010, built by the Antwerp architects Claire Bataille and Paul Ibens. Numerous exhibitions.
