Blown glass carafe covered with solid silver chiseled with Japanese flower motifs: chrysanthemums and cherry blossoms (sakura). The carafe is trilobed allowing a pleasant grip and service. Silver 950 hallmark. Typical piece of pre-war Japanese silver work for export. The original cork stopper is a little damaged but still usable, and easily repairable. Japan, circa 1930, 22.5 x 12 cm.
