Puiforcat: Heavy Silver Vermeil Ice Cream Service. St. Louis XVI. Spoons & Cutlery

Superb and very heavy ice cream service in solid silver and vermeil by the goldsmith Puiforcat.

It is composed of twelve individual shovels and a serving cutlery including a shovel and a knife.

The individual spoons and the serving cutlery are in the Louis XVI style with a classic and elegant decoration of crossed ribbons enhanced with acanthus leaves at the base of the spatula and at the level of the clip between the handle and the spoons.
The spoons are in vermeil.
Each piece is hallmarked:
. Minerva 1st title before 1973 for 950/°° silver. EP goldsmith's hallmark with a penknife for the Puiforcat house founded in 1820. Superb service, very dense, with a chic and timeless model!

Good general condition. Minor wear from use and silver-gilt, especially on the serving cutlery. Slight deformation at the base of the large serving shovel.
