Table lamp named 'VAGA' designed by Franco Mirenzi, published by the firm Valenti Luce in 1978. Structure in black enamelled steel, has an electric dimmable system (dimmer). Biography: Italian designer born in 1942, Franco Mirenzi began his professional career in 1964 in Milan, where he worked at the headquarters of Unimark International. In Italy, his clients include Agip, Boston, Brionvega, Cedit, Citterio, Dreher, Fabbri, General Electric, Honeywell, Molteni, Norex, Sirrah and Unifor. He has designed furniture, accessories, lighting, ceramics, hi-fi equipment, household appliances and exhibitions. The Valenti firm produced his Vaga lamp, this light fixture was widely advertised and is now highly sought after on the antiques market. He was a member of the ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale). In 1970 he received the Compasso d'Oro. In 1971 he won first prize in the Smau Industrial Competition Design competition.
