Triptych Icon Of The Holy Trinity, Greece 19th Century / Orthodox

Beautiful triptych representing the Holy Trinity of the New Testament. It comes from Greece and dates from the first half of the 19th century -- around 1820/1840.
On the central panel, the Trinity with Christ on the left and God the Father on the right, surmounted by the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove. On the left panel Saint Nicholas and on the right panel Saint Charalampe. This composition represents the mystery of the Holy Trinity, the triple incarnation of the one God. They are inseparable in their essence but appear here separately.
This triptych is finely painted on wood in tempera (egg yolk-based paint) in light tones.
Good general condition. Wear of time, cracks and small losses.
