"Art Deco Style Dressing Table Or Console Table, Mahogany, Bird's Eye Maple And Bronze, Ca 1935"
Here is a very elegant dressing table in the Art Deco style and period. This is probably a Belgian work circa 1935. It was made with the greatest care in mahogany and speckled maple. It is decorated with two magnificent double bronze handles serving four drawers in the belt. The mirror alone is a very beautiful piece of cabinetmaking. This piece of furniture has been completely restored and repolished with a buffer. It is completed by an original glass shelf which does not necessarily have to be installed but which protects the polished wooden shelf and enlarges its useful surface. This piece of furniture can also be used as a console or desk. To do this, simply unscrew the mirror which is cleverly fixed to the back of the object and position it on the wall above the dressing table which then becomes, as desired, an elegant desk or a refined console.
