"Liège 1798-1809, Solid Silver Teapot, Louis Drion, Capacity 1.5 Liters"
Very important Liège teapot in solid silver dating from the end of the eighteenth century or the very beginning of the nineteenth century. It bears the master goldsmith's mark of Louis Drion, member of a real dynasty of Liège goldsmiths. The guarantee mark "au coq" and the different of the Liège control office (Ourthe department 72) are also found on the bottom of the teapot. It has a capacity of approximately 1450 ml and can therefore serve approximately seven to eight cups of tea. It weighs approximately 720 grams.
