Deep carving of the cartouche of the back representing a bouquet of flowers continuing on the woodwork with a garland of leaves. The same motif is found carved in the belt.
The well-molded armrests are flared allowing a good reception for these seats.
Slightly inclined Queen's back.
The seat is wide and upholstered in the traditional way, horsehair on straps.
No reinforcements under the belt, well pegged, the 2 armchairs are very stable.
They are covered with a "golden yellow" damask cotton with Louis XV style floral patterns.
Very good general condition for this pair of Louis XV period living room armchairs.
