A work of the famous Maison Lucien Gau in Paris ; the grandparents of the previous owner acquired this chandelier from Maison Gau in the 1940'ties. This chandelier, which is truly spectacular and very chic , is of a high quality , the bronzes finely chiseled and gilded.
The "Maison Gau" has been established in Paris since 1860, specializing in the manufacture of lighting, small furniture and bronze art objects.
Even nowadays ; you can still order this model of rocaille chandelier , the price currently displayed is 51,500,-Euro (the last photo is the chandelier at Maison Gau).
This chandelier comes from a beautiful estate in Belgium , the chandelier is in good condition but needs to be cleaned , the electricity needs to be checked too.
