"18th Century Money Changer's Desk"
Interesting money changer's desk with rich marquetry decoration of leafy scrolls, opening with a leaf flanked by two columns of three drawers, composed of a decoration of volutes and arabesques in cherry wood on a rosewood background. The top is divided into two parts, one removable, it leaves a tilting drawer front which uncovers the paperweight composed of three small drawers marquetry with a similar decoration on the outside. The desk rests on eight ball feet in blackened wood.
