This spelter statue is a copy of the original discovered in Pompeii in 1862, now on display at the Naples Archaeological Museum. Traditionally known as Narcissus, this model actually represents the god Dionysus. The statue features metal rods that fit into holes designed for this purpose in the marble base.

In good overall condition.
