"Beautiful Pair Of Still Lifes With Flowers And Fruits 19th Century From Elderberry."
This very pretty pair of 19th century still lifes was made by the painter Sureau (French school) circa 1870. The first describes an opulent basket of autumn fruits on an entablature, while the second presents us with an equally opulent bouquet of flowers, of which Sureau was the specialist, notably roses. The 2 canvases are presented in high quality gilded stucco frames, from the PIETON house in Paris. Our two canvases are signed. Perfect condition.
