Polish painter, active in France
Coming from a family of Polish nobility, he discovered art during his childhood during numerous trips to Europe.
He studied at the Beaux-Arts in Munich and in Paris and exhibited his first paintings, close to the Fauve movement in one of the largest Parisian galleries, the Bernheim gallery.
He settled and lived in the Montmartre of the avant-garde where he frequented Derain, Picasso, Soutine ... His paintings are very recognizable by his knife technique and his very colorful palette
He exhibited at the Salon d'Automne in 1912, 1913 and 1919. He painted portraits of contemporaries such as Léonard Foujita, Antoine Bourdelle .... The bankers David David-Weill, regent of the Bank of France, granted Wladimir de Terlikowski financial support throughout his life.
