Markovitch was an architect who worked and lived in France, and is primarily known for his architectural paintings of urban buildings, cathedrals, and monuments, as well as Swiss, Italian, German, English, and Belgian landscapes, cityscapes, mountain and seascapes, lake and marine scenes, and numerous scenes in the United States, especially cityscapes ...
