She began to exhibit her work in the 1980s, and since then, she has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in France and abroad. Life and career Iberia Lebel was born in Amiens, France in 1956. She studied plastic arts and applied arts at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg, where she graduated in 1977. She lives and works in Amiens. Iberia Lebel's artistic style is characterized by a skillful use of color and a gestural painting technique. She uses the spatula to apply thick strokes of paint to the canvas, creating captivating textural effects.
