ANDRE ARBUS (attributed to) SALON 1940/1950 COMPOSED OF A LARGE SOFA AND TWO ARMCHAIRS to be compared with the model created in 1942 for the layout of the salon of the Marcelle Alix fashion house in Paris reproduced in 1 of the cover pages of Yvonne Brunhammer's book on Andre Arbus Currently this salon has been covered with white velvet for the filming of the series "Kaiser Karl" on the life of Karl Lagerfeld. This salon has not been renovated, just covered with a satin white velvet for the needs of the filming, so it still needs to be restored, but the velvet is of quality and new.
