These two oils on canvas depict seasides. One is bordered by a high cliff topped by a village, in the distance, along the coast, we can see a village and what could be a lighthouse, in the foreground a few characters watch a ship that is docking. On the other, we contemplate a bay, bordered by a plain, and surrounded in the distance by high mountains, in the foreground a character sitting under trees seems to be resting, further away, behind a surrounding wall is a town and important buildings. These paintings, from the very end of the 18th century or the very beginning of the 19th century are preserved in gilded baguettes from the same period. In good condition, the two paintings have been relined. Frame dimensions 23.5 cm x 28.5 cm, canvases 19.3 cm x 24 cm.
