Gustave Madelain is a French painter, born in 1867, died in 1944. Landscape painter. He exhibited in Paris, at the Salon des Indépendants since 1907. He had acquired a reputation as a painter of river quays. We also owe him many canvases painted in Le Havre, Rouen and naturally in Paris.
