"Late 16th Century Gilded Wood Frame"

Important gilded carved wooden frame from the end of the 16th century with beautiful carving work both on the part of the rabbet with plant motifs and on the external edge of it. It has a large groove in the central part and is enriched at the corners with carved, perforated and gilded wooden decorations. The large frame is in good condition, has its original gilding, given the high age it has some woodworm marks and has undergone some small restoration work on the back.
