Short Hand Stitched Pointe On Printed Cotton - Indian Canvas - Provençal Linen - Late 19th Cent

Beautiful small blanket or short point in cotton pique (Indian - late 19th century), presenting two sides printed with the same abundant floral decoration, in bright colors on a cream background. Quality old Provencal linen, preserved from the ravages of time, in very good general condition of conservation. No particular imperfections, except for possible and rare drops in the quilting. Piece cleaned using a process to preserve the materials and prevent the inner wool layer from clumping into small balls of scattered wool.
