Object description :

"Aubusson Tapestry From The Louis XIV Period "
Very beautiful Aubusson tapestry from the Louis XIV period in perfect condition and in its original dimensions. Tapestry representing the son (Dionysus) and the daughter (Artemis) of Zeus. Artemis, Greek goddess of hunting, wild nature and protector of young women. Artemis could be an ancient divine fire as seems to be proven by different aspects of her cult. This fire could mean "who brings light" Dionysus, Greek God of wine and vines. He is a major figure in the Greek religion. Dionysus is probably "son of Zeus", an etymology according to which the divine Fire is the "son of the Sky of the day". I guarantee you a well-cleaned tapestry, in very good condition with its fixing system. If this should be necessary, we will detail the work that has been carried out. All our tapestries can be presented to you at your home in the Provence Languedoc region and Paris, Ile de France in France without obligation. Ask for our conditions. Free shipping in France. Full refund if the Tapestry does not meet your expectations. Travel France and Europe. Send photographs jeanlouisgoy@orange.fr if you wish to sell a tapestry
