Beautiful chatelaine to wear on belt, from polished openwork steel decorated with faceted marcasite beads. Under the superb lace on top of clasp, six chains of different lengths are attached, with oval links alternately openwork and plain, ending with 5 carabiners.
Beautiful steel jewelry work, France or England, difficult to differentiate, late 18th or early 19th century.
