"Modernist Necklace Alain Lerolle Paris"
Very pretty modernist necklace with geometric shapes made by Alain Lerolle in Paris. Born in 1947, Alain Lerolle opened his first gallery in Tréguier (Côtes d'Armor) in the 70s. A designer of contemporary jewelry, he is a pioneer in the use and mastery of titanium. He is particularly interested in graphic and abstract compositions that the use of the brooch or pendant allows him. For many years, he worked with glass, creating totems, and exhibited his works around the world. In the early 90s, he gradually returned to painting, made of geometric abstractions and mixed techniques. Constructed, architectural, composed painting, which is reminiscent of his jewelry creations. He also indulges in the pleasure of varying the supports, by creating decorative objects (boxes, porcelain). His works are regularly present in the sales of major auction houses (Tajan, Pierre Bergé, Aguttes...). Alain Lerolle died in 2012. Source: https://lerolle.wixsite.com/alainlerolle/bio
