Poster project by Léopold SURVAGE (1879-1968) for the thousandth concert of the association LE TRIPTYQUE in 1963. Le Triptyque was a Parisian concert association, founded by Pierre d'Arquennes (1907-2001) with the aim of promoting young performers and creators. Between 1934 and 2001, 1474 concerts with a very eclectic program were organized, allowing many talents to become known and noticed. Pierre Boulez, to name but one, gave his first concert there, on March 5, 1946. In addition to concert activities, Le Triptyque also organized a French melodies competition.
