Old Landscape Painting With Characters From The 19th Century

Antique oil painting on canvas from the first half of the 19th century depicting a rural landscape where in the foreground we find farmers with grazing herds, portrayed in their daily working life, with a wide valley of green meadow behind them where in the distance at the foot of the mountains we find a small rural village. In the background of the painting, large mountains under a pale blue sky with their peaks hidden and overshadowed by threatening clouds that turn ugly. The painting is in excellent condition, already restored and relined and is inserted in its original gilded wooden frame of the time, with beautiful workmanship made in relief pastiglia at the four corners.
