This overcoat intended for processions marked by majesty includes a hood on which small, skilled hands embroidered around 1800 a sacred heart of Jesus with gold thread. It radiates in the center with rays of embroidered sequins. All around this ample overcoat, gold braids and gold fringes light up in contact with the midnight blue velvet of this cope lined with black fabric. Object on display, magnificent witness to the aura of the ceremonies of yesteryear.
