Rare bronze statuette representing the child Neptune. He is represented naked in the manner of a putto with a plump body (classic of Baroque and Renaissance art), perched on a dolphin, the latter on a circular base, the right foot placed on the pectoral fin, the left foot resting on the head. The right arm pressed against the body, hand on the chest, the left hand clasping the tail of the animal. A small bronze representing Neptune of similar workmanship and patina is kept in Toulouse in the Renaissance building, the Hôtel d'Assézat (Fondation BEMBERG).
