Guðmundur Guðmundsson, known as Erró,
is a postmodern Icelandic artist, born July 19, 1932 in Ólafsvík. He is the co-founder of the pictorial movement of Narrative Figuration in France. He studied plastic arts and mainly painting at the Beaux-Arts in Reykjavík and Oslo from 1949 to 1952, then mosaics at the Beaux-Arts in Florence in 1955. In these different schools, he first specialized in the technique of cut paper before devoting himself to mosaics.
