Set Of Four Louis XV Style Wooden Caned Chairs With Rocaille Motifs

Each chair rests on four curved legs decorated with a cabochon wrapped in a stylized acanthus leaf and ending with
a cabriole leg topped with a volute. The legs have slight molded striations on the sides.

The belt of the chair is decorated with a central fleuron in the shape of an openwork shell surrounded by volutes and acanthus leaves.
The caned seat and upholstered with a leather pad is connected to the back by two curved fasteners decorated with a flower.

The latter is rectangular in shape, subtly curved and molded on the uprights, up to the shoulders presenting unfurled acanthus leaves and flowers.
On the top, the caned back is decorated with a central compartment surrounded by volutes which presents a flower from which flowering stems escape. Good condition, some signs of wear on the pads.

The caning is in perfect condition, except for a few losses in the lower part of one of the backs.
Some have signs of wear on the wood of the seat.
