He is known for being the author of several models of office chairs, the 657 (or Pollock Arm Chair), released in 1960, and the Pollock Executive Chair of 1963, in particular. These two models are still produced and marketed by Knoll, and some of his creations are part of the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
