Very impressive Empire style tea or coffee set in sterling silver. It is still contained in its original oak travelling chest. It consists of a hot water fountain of tea urn with its burner (sometimes wrongly called "samovar"), a tea caddy , a creamer, a sugar bowl, a teapot or coffee pot depending on the use you want to make of it and a small cup intended to be placed under the tap of the hot water fountain. All the pieces are in perfect condition. Each piece is hallmarked, sometimes several times, with a guarantee hallmark for 950% silver with the head of Minerva and a diamond-shaped master goldsmith's hallmark showing the initials LB surrounding a sauceboat.
