Charming rocking blotter for a lady's desk, in wood mounted in guilloche silver enameled with an opalescent blue-white background decorated with delicate garlands of roses and leaves tied with blue ribbons.

The socket button is decorated in the same way. German silver hallmark crown and crescent moon, and marked with the title 925.

No hallmark to identify the silversmith.
