Beautiful volume in-16 format (10x14cm), in a very beautiful rigid binding in green morocco, ribbed spine and gilt titling, solid headcaps, rigid corners, slightly rubbed upper cover as well as the edge of the headcaps, without consequences. The covers are decorated with peripheral gilt fillets and gilt motifs on the inside covers.
Clean and sound work.
Completely collated: 560 pages. 1 black and white frontispiece + 1 engraving in the text.
All edges gilt-shiny and marbled gilt gutter. Very beautiful originality of a know-how of this period to superimpose these two techniques. Scattered foxing inside without hindering reading (19th century papers frequently become reddened over time).
