Series Of Rare Bronze Facings, 15th And 16th Century

Description:
Ormoulu chased bronze.
These facings represent on the one hand: a fluted column bearing an Ionic capital, on a moulded base.
On the other hand a gadrooned firepot from which stylised flames emerge under a garland of fruit. The firepot is supported by a column with swirling flutes and a coffered base. There are 6 of each which adorned a piece of furniture.

Condition:
Good used condition, ormoulu naturally worn, a garland is detached from the flames without loss.

Dimensions:
Column: height: 10.6 cm, width: 2.1 cm. Firepot: height: 10 cm, garland width: 4.7 cm, base width: 2.6 cm.
