Leon NAVEZ by JEAN NAVEZ "R Vivier & A Marin", pair of colorful etchings (aquatint) in the Art Deco style. Framed under glass and period mat. Good general condition, difficult to photograph because they are under glass, note some stains on one of the two etchings (see photos). Dimensions with frame: 50.5 x 41.5 cm Léon Navez is a Belgian painter born in 1900 and died in 1967. Trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, he is recognized for his figurative works and portraits. Navez was associated with the Belgian surrealist movement, influenced by the themes of dreams and imagination. His paintings, characterized by a refined technique and great attention to detail, have been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums. Léon Navez left a significant mark on 20th century Belgian art.
