"Sloping Desk. Louis XV Period Port Furniture."
Sloping desk or donkey's back in solid mahogany with elegant, subdued Louis XV lines. Two small restorations are visible on the top; if the lock entries and locks are period, that of the flap is capricious. Port furniture from the west of France, probably from the Nantes region. Louis XV period. Mid-eighteenth century.
