Biblical Painting, Ameland Late 18th Century, Dutch Folk Art

Beautiful folk painting on wooden pine panel, Baptism of Christ, his feet bathing in the blue water of Jordan, blessed by John the Baptist, accompanied by angels and the dove of Holy Spirit.
It is an antique tray, (similar to Zuiderzeemuseum Enkhuizen), a work attributed to a city in North of Netherlands, Ameland (great specialty of painted furniture on end of 18th century)
Condition is not excellent, edge of this tray has been ground and re-blackened, a hole filled, 2 cracks, pine panel has bulged.
But it remains a beautiful object, considering its 2 centuries….
