Marguerite ring, early 20th century, French work. The ring is centered with an old-cut diamond in claw setting of approximately 0.65 carats in a surround of eight old-cut diamonds for approximately 2.5 carats. The total weight of the diamonds is 3.15 carats for a presumed G/H color and a VS clarity for the central stone. The setting is entirely in platinum, the underside of the setting is worked and openworked and there is on the sides of the ring a shoulder of four 8X8 cut diamonds. This ring has its Master's hallmark and guarantee hallmark.
