Signed lower left
A student of Pierre Eugène Montézin, Constant Doré exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1908 and received a prize from the Société des Paysages in 1925.
A landscape painter, Doré depicts Paris in a lively and contrasting palette, as in this flower market where the city's hustle and bustle brightens up the urban landscape.
